– Plan unit/monthly/yearly lessons and curriculum that aligns with CCSS standards

– Use a variety of delivery methods that will stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and the demands of the CCSS standards

– Deliver high quality Literature/Writing lessons to MS/HS students in school

– Instruct Middle and High School Integrated and Literature/Writing classes with enthusiasm, creativity, and sensitivity to student learning styles.

– Utilize technology for instructing students, maintaining records, communicating information to parents, and promoting student and drama program achievements.

– Commitment to professional growth through participation in professional learning communities and development opportunities

– Experience using Understanding by Design (UBD) to develop learning units

– Follow the textbook and syllabus provided by the school for preparing lesson plans
